*******************NEWS**********************

GMAS 4th Grade
GMAS Testing begins this week for our fourth grade students. The entire building will be in test-taking mode just like we were for the 3rd and 5th graders.

The Media Center will be closed until at least 11:00 each day.

Students will be testing in the computer lab so please do not go through the media center walkway to go to specials.

4th grade lunch and specials will stay the same.

There will be no announcement to start testing however we will make an announcement when all testing is complete for the day.

Classes may go to recess once an email is sent giving the all clear.

Please be mindful while walking in the halls and transitioning to specials.

Staff Apparel
We have a new school brand/logo that will roll-out in August and we want to celebrate our new brand with apparel for our staff members! If you are returning next year, please go to the front office mail room to choose either:
  •           a 3/4 zipper pull over

                           OR
  •  a t-shirt (women's v-neck and men's crew neck)

The color will be different but there are sample sizes for you to try on if you wish.

Once you know which one you prefer, please write the size next to the item name. Leave the other item BLANK.

Please have your choices by Friday!   Questions? Ask Zeller or Pitchford

Google Classroom IB Portfolio Creation for 3rd, 4th, 5th
Below are the times you scheduled with Hannah and Roberts on Tuesday, May 14th, for creating your student's IB Portfolio in their Google Drive! Each student will need a device so please plan accordingly!

We'll be coming to your classroom for 20 minutes to instruct them on setting up their portfolio. As discussed earlier, you may need to allow students additional time to transfer their documents depending on the volume they may have. You may determine when that can happen!

PBIS: Focus Playground
Mr. DiBartolo and the entire PBIS Committee are asking that grade levels assign positions when outside at recess to reduce the increasing number of behavioral incidents. We all know how hard it is for students and teachers to have limited play areas. Let’s make sure we are keeping kids as safe as possible through the end of the year!

Social Reward: Freeze Pops and Pajama Party on May 17th at 2 p.m.
Students can purchase tickets to the party at the Buddy Bucks store. The ticket permits them to wear pajamas on the 17th and have yummy Freeze Pops!

PAWS Up Treat: Wendy’s coupon
Email Beth Owens the names of a boy and a girl who are showing PAWS Up behavior anywhere on campus!
