Riverwood Graduates Walk
The Riverwood High School graduates, who attended High Point, will be walking the halls TODAY!!!! There were several students who had to take one last final exam so the walk has been changed from the afternoon to 10:00 am.
We will make an announcement a few minutes prior to the walk so that you can get your students settled in the hallway. Please don't have your students go into the hallway until the announcement has been made.
We will play the graduation music and we encourage our students to stand and clap for these graduates. And realize that that will be them someday!!!! Thank you for supporting them and explaining what is occurring with your students.

*Bring all TEs and student editions(only) from your classrooms and book rooms and place neatly against the wall by grade level signs.
*Send all SS consumables home with students.
Any questions, ask Hess

Trash or Treasure

If you are unsure about an item, please ask. We want to make sure we are making the right decision regarding school items!!
Please do not place unwanted items in book rooms or teacher lounges. Thank you!!!

Shred, Keep or Send Home
Many of you have asked these questions… see below for what to do with what and how:
1. Doctor’s notes- KEEP for 2 years
2. Hand written parent excuse for absence- KEEP for 2 years
3. Tardy slips- TOSS
4. Graded work from this year- SEND HOME- tests, center work, etc…
5. DFACS referrals- KEEP
6. Work folders from last year- take papers out and send home OR shred
7. Boxed work from years past- shred- county will come and pick up the boxes-
label it TO SHRED and we will let you know where to bring it to.
8. Conference notes- shred or keep- up to you
For those items that say KEEP, we will be giving each team a large manila envelope to store these items in. Label the envelope with: your grade level, the school year, and the contents(what's inside the envelope). Each teacher can paper clip or binder clip their items and stick inside the envelope.
*Envelopes will be handed into Hess.
Anything you are unsure about, please ask.
