Holiday Sing a Long!             

We will hold our annual holiday sing-a-long Tuesday the 18th!!! PreK-2nd grade will be from 8:00-8:30 and 3rd-5th grade will be from 8:40-9:10 to allow for transition. Please make sure that your students are sitting and ready to go at the start time. Thanks!!!

Calling All Trash Bashers!              

Please sign up your class to pick up litter around our campus for a week.  They can do this at recess, a brain break or even for an academic (writing or I.B) activity.   Be creative and send pictures or activities your class participate in for keeping our campus clean.  We will post them on the morning news.

The sign up will be on the door by our mailboxes.   Also, if you have plastic bags leftover from the grocery store Megan Eigel will be collecting them.

Writing Benchmark Assessment - Grades 3-5                               Students in 3rd-5th grade will be taking the WriteScore Write Assessment this week. They will be taking the assessment in their classrooms and will be utilizing other grade level's computers to make it happen. Thank you for your patience while we given this important assessment. 

Schedule: 

4th Grade - December 12th 8:30-9:30

5th Grade - December 13th 9:30-10:30

3rd Grade - December 14th 8:00-9:00

Holiday Staff Party!!                

We look forward to seeing everyone this Thursday for our Staff Holiday Party!!! Details below!!!

What: Our FUN Holiday party

When: Thursday, December 13th from 3:00-5:00pm 

Where: Kaleidoscope Bistro & Pub, 1410 Dresden Drive NE Brookhaven, GA 30319

We will have heavy appetizers and pay for drinks separately. 

Price: $10 (cash or check) to Bridget Mahle. Please use the white envelope’s in my mailbox and be sure to write your name! 

Also, write your name on the “I’m COMING to the Holiday Party!!!” sign up across from the mailboxes. You have until Wednesday! 

High Point is so lucky to have the ENTIRE restaurant to ourselves from 3:00-5:00pm !!!... Expect some awesome Raffle Prizes too! 

Please sign up and turn in money by Tuesday, December 11th so we have a proper head count.

4th/5th Grade Spelling Bee                   

The 4th and 5th grade Spelling Bee will be held this Friday at 8:00 in the cafeteria!!! Please congratulate the following students who are representing their classes:

Mid-Year Conferences                     

Please make sure that you have scheduled a mid-year conference with Pitchford or DiBartolo by the 14th. We want to make sure we meet with everyone who would like a mid-year conference. 

If you do not request a mid-year conference, the mid-conference date which you will sign off on will be on the 19th of December.

Please make sure you are signing off on every walkthrough, formative, and mid-year conference by December 20th!!!! The county is checking so please make sure everything is complete. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!!

Holiday Challenge Extravaganza             

If you haven't already done so, please register your team through the link sent to everyone this past Thursday!!!! If you have any questions, please ask Ms. Salmons. 

The Ugly Sweater Contest will be held on the 17th of December and will be a part of one of the challenges. With that said though, anyone can participate, whether you join a team or not!!!!
