A Note of Thanks                  

Thank you so much to absolutely everyone for your support this last month in voting for the Farmer’s Thank Teachers Award Grant.  The voting ended on Sat, Nov 3rd and we won’t have the official word on whether we won the $2,500 until mid-Dec.  AArggHHH!  Unofficially though, I was at #59 at 10 pm on Sat night so there is a possibility that we did.

Whether or not we win is secondary.  What means the most to me is the support which everyone provided.  The community, the caring; I am so grateful to have all of you as a part of my world.  THANK YOU!!

Flu Clinic                           

Please send your student/s to room #123 this Tuesday for their flu shot. We will send an email to specific teachers so you know specifically which of your students signed up. Thank you!!!

Girls on the Run 5K!                           

Congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade Girls on the Run for completing their 5K this past weekend!!! We are so proud of our students and so appreciative of the staff members who either worked with them prior or ran with them on the day!!! Thank you!!!

GA Student Health Survey                                 

Students in grades 3-5 will be completing the GA Health Survey the week after Thanksgiving Break. The computer lab will be closed so that students can take this survey! The computer lab will not be available during the following times:

November 26th - 7:50 - 11:30

November 27th - 7:50 - 11:30

November 28th - 7:50-8:20, 9:30-10:30

November 29th - 10:00-10:30

Please remember that you are not to bring your classes through the front doors of the building at ANY time. There is now a slide lock on the exterior door near Ms. Salmon’s office. Use this door to enter and exit the building at ALL times. Thank you!
