PBIS
We hope everyone enjoyed the movie and pajama day last Friday!!! Thank you to PreK and Third Grade for picking the reward!!
As we wind down the year, please remember to keep your procedures, routines, and expectations consistent for our students. We are seeing a lot of students begin to get very emotional about the school year coming to a close and might be acting out more than normal because of it.
If you have a child that you feel like needs some more emotional support, please contact Ms. Wooden.
Congratulations to Colleen Zeller for receiving a Buddy Brag and getting the TOTY parking space for the last 2 weeks of school!!! Thank you to everyone who filled out a Buddy Brag recognizing your colleagues!!!
******VISUALS of BEST PRACTICE******
As part of kindergarten's IB unit of study, Sharing the Planet, Ms. Foster and Ms. Stahura's students took a virtual field trip through Google Expeditions. They traveled deep into the blue sea exploring various coral reefs to compare the similarities and differences in groups of organisms. Thank you Ms. Dierdorff for leading our expedition!

During Ms.
Collins’ 3rd grade writer’s workshop block, students are writing
adapted fairy tales. This is their 4th and final unit and the
students cannot put their pencils down! The unit started with them doing a
modeled writing of adapting a classic fairy tale; as a class. They
brainstormed, created an anchor chart and used a graphic organizer. Students
are now adding dialogue, figurative language, and more descriptive words to
their fairy tales. Writer’s workshop time is one of the students’
favorite times of the day. They are excited and love sharing their fairy tales
that they have adapted.
The writers' gallery will be hosted by Ms. Lee's class this week.
The writers' gallery will be hosted by Ms. Mayhall's class next week.
